July 2006 Issue

Dear Reader,

At Integrative Nutrition we are on a serious mission to transform healthcare in America and the world, so that people everywhere can live healthy, happy lives. We've come a long way, and each year we get closer to our goal.

Accomplishing a mission requires energy and dedication. In our busy, job-focused culture, it can be easy to work all the time. The truth is, if you have a big agenda, then your self-care needs considerable attention as well. How are you going to accomplish your goals if you are exhausted?

A secret to achieving great things is something I call extreme self-care. By taking unusual amounts of personal time to rest and nourish yourself, you can become extraordinarily effective in your work.

If you are reading this newsletter, you are probably a passionate person with a powerful mission in life. This summer, I strongly recommend taking extra time to relax and recharge. Sleep in, spend time in nature or do anything that helps you to lighten up and enjoy your life. Temporarily letting go of work ultimately contributes to your well being and allows you to get your agenda accomplished. Now that you have permission to slow down, what will you do?

If your personal mission is aligned with Integrative Nutrition's mission, our school may be just what you need. We are experts at guiding committed individuals like you to create successful yet balanced careers helping others. Come check us out.
